South Beloit is celebrating its 100th birthday with a four day celebration.  On Friday, August 25th, we would like to invite you to the library for an open house.  We’ve been celebrating the decades leading up to the present all through the summer with the summer reading program.  We want to start to look to the future now and where the library can grow.

During the open house, we’ll have refreshments available all day.  The best of the summer games from the decades will be available to play.  All the books in the book sale will be free during the day.

Yearbooks from South Beloit High School and Clark Elementary School will be on display for viewing.

Preschool storytime at 10 am will have a birthday theme for our younger patrons to enjoy the birthday celebration.

Come join in the fun, see what changes have taken place at the library and view where the library wants to be in the future!
