Looking for activities to keep kids entertained during spring break?  The library can help combat spring break boredom with challenges for kids and families.

The Spring Break Challenge begins on Saturday, March 24th  when the library opens at 9 am and runs for one week during spring break, ending on Saturday, March 31st at noon.  Challenge cards will be available all week at the library.  Students are encouraged to complete as many of the challenges as possible and to return the cards to the library.  Prizes will be rewarded for 8 challenges completed.

Drop in for different daily challenges and participate in the fun!

Monday “Break Out the Sharpies” – Come make a tile coaster and return later in the week to pick it up.

Tuesday “Brick Break” – Lego Play Day!

Wednesday “Don’t Break the Car!” – Help us create road tracks for our Hot Wheel Cars.

Thursday “Take a Break” – Our games will be out all day, come join in the fun.  Bring a friend or meet a new friend while playing.

Friday “Break Out” – Pick out a book to “break out” of the library and read for the weekend.

Additional challenges are featured on the challenge card and can be completed any day during spring break.
